Polyester fiber uses in the modern textile

The polyester fiber uses is the most important in “woven fabrics”. The blended fabrics are attractive, durable and comfortable. They retain their appearance well and easy care. The first use of staple polyester was in tropical suiting for men’s summer suits. The suits were light in weight and machine washable.
In home-furnishings, sheets, blankets, bed spreads, curtains that match bed spreads, mattress ticking, table clothes etc, we use Polyester and polyester blends. we also make Upholstery fabrics from it. Polyester carpets have a softer hand-feel than nylon carpets. We use spun yarn in knitted fabric. Here we use polyester with cotton blends.

Other important use of polyester is fiber fill by using in pillows, comforters, bedspreads, other quilted households and apparels, winter jackets etc.

Non-woven fabric are the fourth important use of the polyester fabrics. Here is some example as fusible inter-facings, pillow covers, matress interlining etc.
It has many industrial uses too in pile fabrics, tents, ropes, cording, fishing line , cover stock for disposable diapers, garden hoses, sails, seat belts, filter fabrics used in road buildings, fertilizer bags, in medicinal field for artificial arteries, veins and hearts.
